L’ITALIANO IN PALE A1-B1

“L’Italiano in PALE” is the result of countless hours of dedication by the Italian

teachers of the Foreign Language Learning Program PALE of the Center of Eco-

nomic Administrative Sciences CUCEA of the University of Guadalajara.

This book stems from an analysis of the cognitive abilities of students (most

of them from the Tourism major) who take Italian as a Foreign Language. The

activities are scaffold progressively to support students in their language acquisi-

tion. The themes are culturally relevant with the goal of preparing students for

international mobility.

With the production of original materials, like this book, CUCEA students are

provided with open access to materials relevant to their current learning context

and future opportunities. PALE was created to contribute to the internationalization

of CUCEA students and this book is an important tool for reaching that goal. As

the director of PALE, I would like to extend on behalf of the entire PALE team our
